About Us
Dear Visitor,
I'm delighted to extend a warm welcome to you as you explore our website. Allow me to introduce myself:
I'm Angel Miller, a mother, grandmother, teacher, author, and curator of a museum. My journey is deeply rooted in a passion for education, empowerment, and the belief that books are integral to shaping responsible, confident adults.
As a mother and now a grandmother, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact literature has on a child's development. Yet, I also faced the frustration of finding books that truly represented the experiences and identities of my sons and grandchildren. Recognizing the shared sentiments of many others, I knew I had to take action.
Driven by purpose, I embarked on a mission to ensure every child has access to literature that reflects their diversity. Through collaborations with organizations and educational institutions, I've worked tirelessly to build our community one book at a time.
As my passion continued to grow, I was fortunate to realize another dream: the creation of a museum. Named "No Ordinary Museum," it stands as a testament to the powerful intersection of literature and culture. Together, they bring a sense of fullness to one's self-esteem, grounding us in our past while inspiring us to embrace the future.
Though I feel a sense of fulfilment in my endeavours, I'm constantly reminded that the sky is the limit. As long as there are challenges to address and dreams to pursue, my journey remains ever evolving.
Thank you for joining me on this extraordinary adventure. Together, let's continue to push boundaries, inspire minds, and shape a brighter tomorrow.
With gratitude,
Angel Miller
