Our next guest speaker, Dr. Marlon Lee Moncrieffe (Principal Investigator and Lecturer, School of Education, University of Brighton) is an international award winning elite cycling racer, educator, researcher, and author.
He is a council member of the UK's leading educational research society the British Educational Research Association.
Moncrieffe was an elite road bicycle racer and UCI World Champion medallist.
He writes about the hegemony of whiteness in elite cycling.
This talk and book signing event will uncover the highs and lows of cycling and the peloton racism of a non-white athlete.
